Amy is a Hunter Jumper trainer who has been a passionate equestrian and lover of horses her entire life. With horses in her life at an early age, she bean her lifelong journey starting at just 8 years old at Ridgefield. In her teens, she achieved for champion titles in western pleasure , two world champion titles in hunter hack, as well as numerous wins at Hunter / Jumper"A" circuit shows. From there she trained under and managed various top training and breeding facilities through out the country. She worked her way up the ranks, aging knowledge as a groom, barn manager, assistant trainer, and head trainer. As a Professional rider, she started many young horses and trained them to become successful in hunters, jumpers, equitation, reining , English and western pleasure. Amy's won circuit high point awards, national hunter derbys, and numerous division championships.
"As an instructor, I am able to share with others my passions for the sport and dedication to the horse with patience and attention to detail. I will ensure that my students develop excellent equitation and horsemanship, while being effective and achieving their full riding potential". Amy expresses.
In 2012, Amy started Blue Skyy Stables and took students and many horses through her program to achieve success. Currently her farm, located in Troy Missouri, is home to her warmblood stallion and focuses on a winning breeding program. She always has quality young horses for sale.
Amy now joins our team, bringing her self full circle. We are so happy to have her talent at Ridgefield.
