Rich and Karen Gentry met as teen agers riding saddlebred horses in Webster Groves Missouri. After getting married and moving west they had a daughter, Tracey, and then built Ridgefield in 1970. Showing quarter horses and paint horses became a passion and evolved into successfully showing hunter futurity horses and reining horses winning many World Championship titles. Eventually the focused turned to raising NRHA Reiners and Warmbloods. over Thirty years ago, Tracey created a riding program that gives english and jumping lessons. Now, Madeline Gentry Ryan, daughter of Steve and Tracey is following in the family footsteps and showing her hunter/jumper horses to a championship level.
